Six nuclear reactors to be built in Andhra Pradesh

The government of India is planning to construct six nuclear reactors in Andhra Pradesh. The reactors of 1208 MW capacity each are to be constructed with the cooperation of the US. These reactors would come up at Kovvada in the Srikakulam district. When put together the six reactors would generate 7248 MW.
